The Community provides access to professional learning experiences, curricular and co-curricular resources, and opportunities to engage with like-minded colleagues, all of which support teachers in embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures authentically. We have been deeply touched by Kylie’s genuine passion, contagious enthusiasm, and powerful leadership, which continue to empower us to make meaningful change as leaders in our classrooms and schools.”

"Mount Warrigal Public School first collaborated with Kylie Captain and Dream Big Education when they ran a goal setting workshop with our Stage 3 students. Kylie was engaging and built immediate trust with our students. Kylie then ran a workshop with our staff on cultural safety and building relationships with First Nations families.When the opportunity came to join the Excellence in Aboriginal Education Community, we were more than happy to join. The community has provided an opportunity to listen to renowned First Nations speakers, allowing us to build our own knowledge and understanding.The community also has so many resources to use within classrooms to educate all our students on history, colonisation and how to support our students and community best.Mount Warrigal Public School is proud to be a part of the Excellence in Aboriginal Community, and look forward to continuing to work with Kylie and her team to build our knowledge and support community together
